About Mobile 1 mobile mechanic LLC 2
Trust worthy hard dependable reliable service at your fingertip
Located at 2919 8th St, Tuscaloosa, AL 35401, Mobile 1 mobile mechanic LLC 2 operates as a mechanic serving Tuscaloosa in Alabama. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
In Tuscaloosa, shops are busiest on Monday mornings and before holiday weekends, so a mid-week appointment gets a car seen faster. Labor rates across Alabama vary by neighborhood and by shop type, from small independents to dealership service bays, and mobile mechanics now cover many routine jobs in the driveway. Before authorizing a repair, ask for the estimate in writing, whether the shop warranties parts and labor (12 months / 12,000 miles is common, some offer more), and whether it can provide a loaner or a shuttle. Check the listing for hours, the makes the shop works on and its Google rating, then call ahead, since walk-in capacity is limited at smaller shops.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. The most common schedule is 8 am–8 pm. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Mobile 1 mobile mechanic LLC 2 at (205) 496-4709; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions.
Customers rate it 4.5 out of 5 on Google across 123 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded mechanics in Tuscaloosa.
Tuscaloosa is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Tuscaloosa follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I have a 1988 truck and the mobile mechanic I talked to told me he had never worked on a vehicle with a distributor. I called Mobile 1 Mobile Mechanic and he was there for a minute and had us up and going. I highly recommend Mobile 1 Mobile Mechanic!

My family is here due to my son in law being in an accident and being on life support. Our truck broke down while here and we had no choice but to call someone to come to us. The guy that did the service was friendly and extremely helpful. While we are very appreciative charging someone $450 plus the part for a starter is simply ridiculous never mind given the situation we are in. Hopefully the owner finds some compassion in the future for the people desperately in need of his service.

Our truck broke down while we were driving through the state and we were so lucky to have called Eddie. He was so patient, professional and helpful beyond what you would expect from a mechanic. He’s a real angel and we are so grateful for his services and help. Would recommend him a million times and more. As a queer couple stranded outside of our home state, we felt supported and care for.

Mr Eddie and Duke are awesome. We are traveling though and noticed our back axel was out of line with the others. Mr Eddie told us to let him know when we got set up in our RV site and we’d be next on his list. The guys showed up, assessed the situation, ran to get the needed parts and where back and finished within the hour. Very kind gentleman. Will definitely use Mobile 1 Mobile Mechanic again. Thank you Mr Eddie and Duke for taking such great care of us.
